Dr. Katie Hoemann is an Assistant Professor and the Dale J. Weary Faculty Fellow of Social Psychology at the University of Kansas. She has been fascinated by how people experience and make meaning of the world for as long as she can remember. Katie holds a BA in Cultural Anthropology, Spanish, and Linguistics from Northwestern University, an MA in Cognitive Linguistics from Bangor University, and a PhD in Psychology from Northeastern University. She was previously a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Social and Cultural Psychology at KU Leuven.
